Quality and Professional Home Inspectors
Following the InterNACHI Standards of Practice, our inspections cover the following systems:
- Roofs
- Exteriors
- Basement, Foundation, Crawlspace & Structures
- Heating (HVAC)
- Cooling (A/C)
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Fireplaces
- Attic, Insulation & Ventilation
- Doors, Windows & Interior
Your choice of Home Inspector is an important decision. Did you know that under the Home Inspection Standard of Practice it does not require inspectors to inspect the entire crawlspace area? So if your inspector isn’t willing, he doesn’t have to crawl through that entire sub-floor area. We, however, will do everything we can to inspect those nasty and tricky spaces. Potts Home Inspections want to go above and beyond the competition, that includes your crawlspaces and tight attic areas.
Who should get a home inspection?
If you are purchasing a home, most banks require that you get a certified and licensed inspection done on the property in order to receive a loan for the house. During the process of selling a home, both the sellers and the buyers might get individual Home Inspections. For those selling a home, they may opt for a pre-listing inspection, which would help them to identify any problem issues that they may wish to rectify before the listing takes place.
